Terms and Conditions – Here For The Drama Academy
By enrolling your child in Here For The Drama Academy, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Enrolment and Participation:
a. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during the enrolment process.
b. Participants must adhere to the Academy's rules, policies, and guidelines during sessions.
- Liability:
a. Here For The Drama Academy shall not be held liable for any injuries sustained during sessions, except in cases of proven negligence.
b. Parents must inform the Academy of any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies that may affect the participant's involvement.
- Lost Property:
a. Here For The Drama Academy is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings brought by participants.
b. Parents are encouraged to label their child's belongings to minimize the risk of loss.
- Code of Conduct:
a. Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
b. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the program.
- Photography and Social Media:
a. Here For The Drama Academy may capture photographs or videos during sessions for promotional purposes.
b. Parents may opt out of having their child featured on the Academy's official social media channels by notifying the Academy in writing.
- Fees, Refunds, and Cancellations:
a. Tuition fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced.
b. Refunds for monthly fees are not granted under any circumstances.
c. A minimum of 30 days written notice is required for cancellations. Payments will be processed for one additional month from the date of written notice. During this period, participants may continue attending classes. This policy remains in effect regardless of the reason for cancellation.
d. Memberships cannot be paused. If a participant wishes to stop attending, the membership must be cancelled following the 30-day written notice policy, with one additional month’s payment required after cancellation.
e. In the event of bounced payments or fees due to insufficient funds or bank errors, the outstanding amount remains payable in full. Withdrawing a child from the Academy does not waive the obligation to settle any outstanding fees, including the additional month due upon cancelling.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling:
a. Here For The Drama Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. You will be either given an alternative session or a refund.
b. Notice will be provided in advance, and efforts will be made to accommodate rescheduling.
- Enrolment Termination:
a. Here For The Drama Academy reserves the right to terminate the enrolment of any participant for repeated violations of the Academy's rules or for behaviour deemed inappropriate.
- Communication:
a. Parents will receive important information and updates via the contact details provided during enrolment.
b. It is the responsibility of parents to inform the Academy of any changes to contact information.
- Safeguarding:
a. Here For The Drama Academy is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Our staff are trained in safeguarding procedures, and we adhere to national safeguarding guidelines.
b. Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to the Academy's designated safeguarding lead (DSL). Contact details for the DSL will be provided at the start of each term.
c. The Academy reserves the right to take appropriate action, including notifying external agencies, if safeguarding concerns are raised regarding any participant.
